Construction management package to create a new Italian restaurant in the popular Mayfair district of London. The works included a full strip out and refurbishment including the creation of a specialist acoustic enclosure to ensure that noise from the new business did not affect the existing businesses that occupied the main building. The project was a logistical challenge to ensure that the large specialist kitchen equipment imported from Italy was able to be installed in the confined space of the existing 3 storey unit. A major design change was incorporated mid-way through the works to completely change the interior layout which was managed with minimal disruption to the programme. The M&E and drainage systems were completely replaced to ensure they cope with the new demands of the restaurant business. Other works included the management of the white rock wall panelling installation to the new kitchens and the provision of resin flooring throughout. A new feature alabaster staircase was installed in a new floor opening at the front of the building.
