In order to expedite the frame construction at 386 London Road, Croydon, Heydon and Carr used a specialist prefabricated core construction that enables several levels of core to be fixed ahead of the floor slab construction saving time early in the construction process.

To maximise the space available, a car lift and double car stacking were used as part of the design brief to provide 21 parking spaces with a relatively small basement.
